A ten-minute check before a One Piece Card Game tournament prevents common material problems: a missing card, a marked sleeve, a deck list mismatch or forgotten accessories. Event rules and the organiser’s instructions always take priority.
Confirm the event
Review the venue, check-in time, format, registration process and any deck list deadline. Bandai TCG+ is used to find events, register and view pairings. Make sure your account works and your participation details are correct. Then open the official rules page for the current rulebook, Comprehensive Rules, Tournament Rules Manual, errata and banned or restricted announcements.
Recount the three deck elements
For official constructed play, bring one Leader card, a fifty-card main deck and a ten-card DON!! deck. No side deck is permitted. Count each group separately, then repeat in a different order.

Match the physical deck to the list
If a list is required, sort the deck temporarily by card number and record every quantity. Then work backwards from the document and locate each physical group. Alternative artworks with the same card number count together. Do not change the submitted deck unless the organiser’s procedure allows it.
Inspect cards and sleeves
Main-deck sleeves must be opaque and identical in colour, wear and design, with every card inserted the same way. Replace split, wrinkled or visibly marked sleeves and carry matching spares. Up to two sleeves per card are allowed when the result remains compliant and indistinguishable. The Leader and DON!! cards must be sleeved or unsleeved so they are clearly different from the main deck.
Check language, readability and legality
At official European events, the manual allows English and/or French cards in the Leader and main deck. Officially distributed DON!! cards may be used in any language. Always review local event conditions. Cards must be readable and legitimate; photocopies, altered or graded cards are not suitable for official play. Check errata, release legality and the current banned or restricted list.
Pack the permitted essentials
- Recounted Leader, main deck and DON!! deck;
- legible matching deck list;
- uniform opaque sleeves and matching spares;
- pen, dice and required counters;
- registration proof, TCG+ account and identification if requested;
- saved venue and check-in instructions.

Final check before round one
Arrive early enough to hear announcements. At the table, keep drinks away and recount the three areas. If a rule or procedure is uncertain, call a judge immediately; continuing the game can make a correct ruling harder. Finally, review mulligan, draw and DON!! sequencing on turn one.
